ESSEX WING BADGES JOIN THE ARCHIVE

Essex Wing has become the first RAF Air Cadet Wing to have all their current badges reproduced and added to the Archive. It has been a great project to work on with some badges simply being reproduced, but also a few badges being completely redesigned.

The project was actually completed in 2022 but the badges have undergone a spring clean and improvement to the circlet text.

A massive thank you goes to the Wing CO and the various Squadron CFAV’s for their help and support.

The next stage will be to create a gallery of all the old badges as a historical record.
